It was awesome to have such an intimate view of the winemaking process. Sid did a fantastic job of providing us with an up close and personal look at wine country. We let him plan everything and we were not disappointed. Medlock-Ames was a charming small, organic vineyard where winemaking is obviously a PASSION, not a job. We were lucky enough to see the grapes still on the vine in early November, we were able taste them right there in the field. Kenny, the manager, was awesome about explaining the simplest of details to us, since this was our very first experience in a vineyard. The wine was fantastic, and we can't wait to try the bottle we had delivered back home. Lunch was awesome! Also, with me, being not so graceful, I spilled some wine at the Robert Young winery, and Sid graciously cleaned it up, and made me feel comfortable and at ease despite my obvious embarassment. Sid took some great photo's of us and even had a surprise for us at one tiny, family owned vineyard that we were not expecting. I would highly recommend this as well worth the money. It was an excellent addition to our honeymoon memories! Thanks a bunch Sid!

I've lived in the bay area for 8 years and visited wine country many times, but never had as much fun as the Healdsburg Wine Tour.
What set this experience apart was the personalized service. It is one thing to go to a tasting room (aka "bar") or winery in crowded Napa, and hope someone will charge you $25 to ignore you----and it is completely different experience to be the only people walking around a vineyard, tasting wine----or even a winemaker's home!
Although we had wineries we wanted to visit, Sid came up with a completely different list---many I had not ever heard of. The wines were great, but the experience of a private discussion of the wine maker was even better.
Sid did a great job being flexible with our suggestions as well, as balance the time at the wineries well.
The two wineries that stood out were Medlock-Ames, an organic, biodynamic winery and Wilson-Flemming, where we tasted at the winemaker's home.
I would highly recommend this to Bay Area locals as well as out of towners for the single best wine tasting experience.

Sid is a gem. We went on a tour for my mom's 60th Birthday and he planned a spectacular day. We did many things over the course of our 4 days in the wine country and our time with Sid was rated the favorite by all.
Each place he selected was unique and offered something different - organic wine and farming, a beautiful wine cave and private tasting, the most incredible view of the wine country, personal meetings with the wine owners and makers. I can not say enough about Sid. He is a gentleman and an absolute pleasure. He knows the wine country and truly cares about quality service. I love Sid!!

The slogan on Sid Sadeghian's business card says, "It is all about the service" --- and we are delighted to report that he personifies this sentiment. We had exchanged emails before our trip, telling him what we hoped to experience (unique, small wineries; mostly reds; quality over quanity, and a nice spot for a picnic somewhere along the way). Sid took us to Lancaster for their unique cave, Medlock-Ames for their hollistic approach to substainable farming and wine production, a great talk with the owner of Wilson-Fleming on "taking what the vineyard gives us" (and that would be the best cabernet of the trip), and a candlelit tasting with the owner of Garden Creek. I highly recommend that you let Sid and Healdsburg Wine Tours craft a personalized tour for your visit to Sonoma wine country.

Told Sid two things: one, we were familiar with the area and two, that I planned on proposing the evening before our wine tour. He took us to places we had never been to before, all were good and uncrowded. Each winery was expecting us and at least acted as if they were treating us as special since we were just engaged. This truly did make my fiancee feel special.
He offered to use our camera and took candid pictures throughout the day. It was so nice to have such a memorable weekend captured on film (with both of us in the photos!).
Sid truly understands service. He anticipated all our needs/wants whether we were aware of them or not. He was there when we wanted him invisible when we didn't. He has a true insiders knowledge of the area (seems to know everyone). He was extremely gracious and professional.
Highly recommend.

Our Healdsburg Wine Tour was absolutely the perfect way to see wine country! Sid was our host and is a delight! His knowledge of the gems of wine country made our day spectacular. This was our first wine tour, and we will never use anyone else! Sid was amazing! The tour started out with a party of 2 and grew to 6 of us... Sid took it in stride & drove our SUV so we could all be accommodated. The communication prior was great via email. He gave suggestions, and asked if we had any of our own. He sent a 'plan' but was so flexible during our trip, if was NO pressure. He gently guided us along & was so informative & friendly…. it was really a pleasure. I left my jacket at one of the wineries and between the winemaker and Sid, it was delivered back to be before we even returned to our room! What a unique experience, actually sitting with the wine makers (in their backyards!) we will definitely be using his services again. Hopefully SOONER rather than later! :)

I never used Tripadvisor before but when I was looking for a driver in the wine country for our March 2008 trip, I decided to use it. My husband and I enjoyed the time with Sid and Healdsburg Wine Tour. We had never been to the wine country and booking with Sid's company was the best decision we made!! We booked the guided wine tour the first day and then went the other days on our own. That was the best plan. Sid and I communicated via email/phone weeks in advance of the trip. He took the time to figure out what type of places we'd like to see, gave us advice on how to get the most out of our trip, and then designed a day/arranging appointments to fit our preferences. He also made suggestions re: dinner/hotel accommodations. Finally, he gave us some ideas of wineries we might like to visit when we were touring "on our own" on the days to follow. There's so much to choose from -- it can be overwhelming. He was professional and knowledgeable. Money well spent! We've recommended Healdsburg Wine Tours everyone we know headed up to that area.

Sid's expertise and sincere desire to create an extraordinary experience for us was perfectly executed. We were ever so gently whisked off to an incredible combination of wineries that had the reputation for the most exquisite wines in their class, the friendliest and most genuine service, and the most breathtakingly beautiful locations. We were treated to some of the most gorgeous back-road drives in the area, at a pace that was perfect for us. In an area that is saturated with wineries that are not all created equal, Sid hand-picked for us only the best. We had the most enjoyable wine-tasting experience we have ever had. It was clear that we were the benefactors of Sid's dedication to excellence. We couldn't have asked for more!

We went to the Duchamp Hotel for my birthday last weekend. Sid at the hotel was wonderful. He thought of everything. We had a chilled bottle of wine when we arrived. He helped with dinner reservations both nights we were there. He knows everyone in all of Healdsburg, and at all the local wineries, and it was so nice that he had paved the way by anticipating what we would want. The absolute highlight of our trip (well, other than the 7 course chef's tasting menu at Cyrus!) was a wine tour that Sid took us on Saturday morning. Based on his wonderful suggestions, and driven around by Sid himself in a beautiful Towncar, we started with a very detailed tour of the Lancaster family estate winery, complete with a drive through the vineyards and some instruction on the process of harvest and fermentation before "racking" and then bottling. I may live in San Francisco, but other than drinking wine, we know very little about how it's done. The tour is by appointment only, but is free of charge and we would highly recommend Lancaster as a place to start. Wonderful plus the grounds are so beautiful you never want to leave. Then Sid took us to several more wineries where they all said happy birthday to me since Sid had called in advance. It was such a nice touch. He even got me flowers from a roadside stand run by little kids. Our rainy afternoon was rounded out by a very tasty lunch in front of a fire while tasting flights of wine at Coppola's new tasting room and restaurant Rosso & Bianco. I have to say, it was about as perfect a birthday as anyone could have and the hotel was pretty nice too. Although I don't think I want to drink wine ever again after last Saturday -- no not really. Kidding. Thanks again Sid for everything.”
